engineering sector with partner universities. It was founded in 1972 with the aim of promoting the innovation potential of its members. The FVB is one of 19 research committees within the Forschungskuratorium Maschinenbau e.V. (<a href=\"http:\/\/fkm-net.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FKM e. V.<\/a>) and currently counts 44 members participating in research on construction equipment. One of the FVB's most important tasks is to acquire financial resources for joint research in order to strengthen the innovation capability of its members.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The FVB supports the research and development activities of its members in the field of construction machinery by planning and implementing pre-competitive research projects. It strengthens the dialogue between science and economy accelerating a research landscape for construction equipment from which every individual can benefit.
