DLR as new project management organisation
A transition phase will ensure a smooth handover from the previous project management organisation to the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) has commissioned the DLR project management agency to implement the Industrial Collective Research Programme (IGF) until the end of 2026. This task was previously carried out by the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations "Otto von Guericke" e.V. (AiF). The research associations organised under the umbrella of the AiF remain an important component of industrial collaborative research. In the future, other research associations will also be able to apply for accreditation in the IGF funding programme.
